sketchbook archives

drawing has always been a part of my life, and i’m lucky enough that my parents kept around a bunch of my old work and passed it along to me. i also hung on to almost everything that i’ve drawn since i was old enough to keep track of it myself, and so i have sketch pads, notebooks, and miscellaneous sheets of paper going back 30 years or more.

my sketchbook archive project is where i am scanning and posting everything. it’s a pretty self-indulgent project, but people have enjoyed my sketches in the past so maybe someone else will find this stuff interesting.

note: occasionally, there will be some text or pictures that have been blurred out of the image. the text is stuff that i wrote that is either confidential or private or would likely get me in trouble somehow. the only images that i blurred were ones that other people drew since my idea was really to focus on my own drawings.
